NHTSA Crash-Test Results

Front Impact, Driver = 5
Front Impact, Passenger = 5
Rollover Resistance = 4
Side Impact, Driver = 4
Side Impact, Rear Passenger = 4

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) tests a vehicle's worthiness in front- and side-impact collisions and rates its resistance to rollovers.

Front-impact crash-test numbers indicate the chance of serious injury: 5 = 10% or less ; 4 = 10-20%; 3 = 20-35%; 2 = 35-45%; 1 = More than 45%.

Side-impact crash-test numbers indicate: 5 = 5% or less; 4 = 6-10% ; 3 = 11-20%; 2 = 21-25%; 1 = More than 26%.

Rollover resistance numbers indicate the chance for rollover when the vehicle leaves the roadway: 5 = Less than 10%; 4 = 10-20% ; 3 = 20-30%; 2 = 30-40%; 1 = More than 40%.

faheyk1981's 2002 Hyundai XG-Series

Test Speed @ 64kph (40mph)

Restraints/dummy kinematics - Dummy movement was well controled. During rebound, the dummy's head hit the B-pillar. Injury measures taken from the head, neck chest and left leg indicate low risk injuries to these body regions in a crash of this severity. Forces on the right tibia and right foot indicate that injuries to the lower leg and foor would be possible. Head acceleration from the B-pillar hit was low.

I made a mistake in my last message it would cost around $200 for a tank of gas since the Azera's tank holds a little more than 19 gallons. I defintely would be riding a bike to work at that price.

$9.00 a gallon is crazy. It was cost me $100 or more a week to drive at those prices. I would definetly have to car pool that's more than my car payment.

If gas goes to $7.70 a gallon I think I'll have to stop driving. You are correct I pay on average $2.70 a gallon. When we were paying almost $5.00 a gallon how much was gas in Ireland?
