Here are some pics of my system. A Sony HU is the brains behind the awis12p and the awis15p; both were wired at .5ohms at 4800watts using an audionbahn 2300hct amp, 0/guage wire to the cap and 4" 4/guage to amp from the 12farad kole capacitor. also connected to the subs is an MA audio 30band equilizer; i only use 15" for left and 12" for right. I had at first just the awis12p in the the audiobahn tube at 600watts. i know,-i know, an awis12p in a tube? i swear....142dBs@600watts.
so, i found a tube for a 15"....-Ha!needless to say i bought it along with an awis15p. -and yes, if and when i do find an 18" tube, i will by it.
