I am the 3rd owner on the 77, we call it the little Beastie because it's got the slant six and not the 8. The previous owners had an Earl Shive coupon special or something and had painted it red (which looks orange in the pics) over the original maroon. The vinyl was beyond trashed and is now off, the chrome is off and the thing is partially primered. Unfortunately the chrome was destroyed & thrown away by my X as he thinks mopars are trash...yeah...I thought about returning the favor & doing the same to his camaro but somebody's gotta be a grown up!

These pics are of the day it was brought home, the little Beastie looks a lot different now...and will look alot different when finally finished but I'll get some updated pics on here as soon as I can find the camera USB cord!

There has been a rebuild on the slant six but there's an oil leak from the rebuild that was never addressed. I'm currently waiting for the fuse panel replacement to arrive (took me a year and a half to locate a suitable one, now I just have to have someone go get it for me...sigh...) The car runs and drives but is not street legal due to brake, tail & blinker lights not working due to the fuse panel issues. I could wire around but since I've finally found a nice replacement I figure I might as well wait and put it in/use it as I'll need to do this sooner or later anyway. :) I did replace the starter in 2003 and I'm keeping an eye out for a radiator since its really showing its age. I'm going to keep the slant six for now and after the rest of the car is done I'll consider putting a bigger engine in. I would love to build another "sleeper". It is sometimes disconcerting driving this car with the 6 as I was so used to the 8 I keep looking for more power than I've got...the car has power, just not the v8...it goes but it only has v8 dreams, (the little Beastie!) I get 27 mpg though, lol. This baby needs alot of work and due to my illness it's not going to be a quick restore but when I bought it I knew I was in for the long haul, I just didn't realize how long.
