For Sale: $500.00 due to illness I can't finish this project.

My 2nd mopar, this car has been sitting just being started up every month. Needs complete tune up and a bunch of mostly little stuff done to it. Email me at spychevy@gmail.com for details (and please don't pick on me about the email handle, lol) and phone # swaps if you are interested. Thanks for looking! I don't want to it to go but since it's gotta, I want it to go to a good home :)

About the car:

The previous owners had an Earl Shive coupon special or something and had painted it red (which has faded almost to pink) over the original maroon. The vinyl was beyond trashed and is now off, the chrome is off and the thing is partially primered to protect the top where the vinyl was removed and the lower half (there's some tiny rust spots around the front & back of the doors etc...) Unfortunately the chrome is long gone. The bondo that is on there is basic cosmetic/protection but shouldn't be too much of a pain to get off. The interior doesn't leak, the bondo was put on to protect the back & side windows after the vinyl top was removed as a "just in case" / temporary thing.

There has been a rebuild on the slant six but there's an minor oil leak (not a burn) from the rebuild that was never addressed.  The car runs and drives but is not street legal due to brake, tail & blinker lights not working due to the fuse panel issues. You could wire around if needed until you could find a replacement fuse panel etc... I did replace the starter in 2003 and the radiator works but its really showing its age. Of course from sitting it's going to need a complete tune up.  I put in a new battery last year so it starts right up but it does need a complet fluid check & tune up before running for an extended period. It is sometimes disconcerting driving this car with the 6 as I was so used to the 8 I keep looking for more power than I've got...the car has power, just not the v8...the super six gets up and goes but it only has v8 dreams, I get 27 mpg though, lol. This car needs some work and due to my illness I can't even get an oil change done on the poor car. I'm hoping it'll find a good home so I'm putting it up for sale where the mopar fans hang out :)

Sweet project. Slant 6 are pretty durable engines. Electrical issues SUCK. Keep us up to date on your work, and have fun. Later
