Snarling_Snake's 1985 Chevrolet Camaro

FOR SAle $8600 1985 Camaro Z28
Any questions can be directed to TR at TRFowler@Comcast.com. Located near Columbia, Maryland. 1985 Z28 Camaro. 40,000 original miles. The original paint is near perfect and is sandstone in color.

Interior is original bronze.I bought this car from the original owner in Scranton, Pa. on 3/22/06 and decided later that it was too gorgeous to actually drive.

The hood is a remarkable custom one. No pictures do it justice. One has to see it in person to appreciate the beauty of it.

Engine: a MODIFIED 350 cubic inch from the 1978 era. It includes: .030 over bore; Dart 2 iron heads with angle plugs, 2.02/1.60 valves; Competition cam 280H Magnum with 486 lift, 230 duration, 486 intake and exhaust; Magnum roller rockers; steel crank; Chrome Holley #3310 750 CFM carb with vacuum secondaries Holley Contender hi-rise dual plane intake good from off idle to 7200 RPM; 200cc intake runners Chrome Moroso valve covers; Hedman Headers; MSD 6A ignition; 2200 Stall Converter with lock up for interstate driving, Summit stainless harmonic balancer; braided hoses; bolt buttons; new battery; approx. 425 Horsepower. The transmission is a 700R4 with a B&M Megashifter; Cheetah shift kit is installed; Manual automatic 4 speed with OVERDRIVE button. The rear is a Zoom 4:10 gears, with large traction bars. The exhaust is a 2.5" dual Flowmaster system, custom made that exits in front of rear tires with stainless tipped megaphones. There are also dual laker exhaust cutouts installed that exit to the rear of the front tires. The chassis has been painted with the correct chassis black paint and remains detailed nicely. The rear air shocks can be inflated to 125 lbs for a raised rear (see pictures) or lowered to 25 lbs for a softer ride. Air is entered with a tire valve under the center of the rear bumper. There is a transmission oil cooler and a second electric fan in front of radiator. The interior is mainly stock with the addition of the shifter, 2nd tachometer, oil pressure and water temp gauges. The AC system is deleted. Stock gauges have been white faced. The dash has been covered with Dark Burlwood and a Mahogany steering wheel has been installed. The wheels are Cragar Drag Stars with 8 inch reverse on rear. The tires are new with Mickey Thompson's on the rear. Concerns: Park does not hold. One small spot of paint on front bumper. This car has been driven about 1000 miles in the last 6 years. Car has 40,000 miles on it now. Purchased by the previous owner (Vincent LiParulo of 521 E. Lakawanna Ave, Olyphant, Pa) in 1986 with 12,000 miles. Always a winner for first place at car shows.Documentation includes all parts receipts. All quality speed parts were placed on car locally and professionally in PA.Currently, there is approx. $19,000 invested in this car. You cannot build this car for this amount of money that is being asked in this auction! You can drive this car home without any worries! Just open up the exhaust cutouts on the highway on your way home, put it in overdrive, and enjoy!
