This is "BETSY" My 1979 Pontiac Firebird Special Edition "Redbird" Esprit. It has a 400ci. big block. It was originally a 301 car. The first owner modified it through the dealership with a 1979 400 6.6. It has been a project to me for the past 8 years. I have been slowly restoring it since I bought it from a friend for $350.00. When I received it the Redbird decals were painted over and I decided to start the restoration process and strip the primer off to find out what exactly I was dealing with. The interior is original.
