i bought this 87 5th avenue from a local ford dealership on 5/16/07 for $750.25. its rust free with 113k miles.its got a new carb and radiator. its got grey leather interior but ill be changing it with the interior of my 85. im also gonna put the stereo,taillights,grille,front bumper,and of course rims and tires from the 85 to this one.the amazing thing is,is im only 19 and doin all this on my own. i dont trust shops and never will take my car to one cuz i know they like to jip people on parts

gotta pull the left side of the bumper out and take the trailer hitch off
fixed the bumper and removed the trailer hitch.the bumper was a bitch!i couldnt pull it out cuz the shock was siezed so i had to take 1 off my 85 5th and change it out which was not an easy job. it still aint perfectly stait but its good enough for me...it pissed me off to much
the vents on the left front fender is all glued on. i will be removing these from both sides
got the vents on the drivers side off now i gotta put another one on
i couldnt get that ugly ass glue off so i took a vent off the original front clip to my 85 5th (gold) and painted the vent black.

L.E.D singles.i got 1 under each door handle,2 in the glove box,and 1 hooked up to my alarm
my underglow kit after i got it. hooked it up in my room to make sure itd work
my car 4th of july night. had the underglow goin all night
its hard to tell but i painted my backup light bulbs blue
both my taillights showin the original and my painted ones.i personaly think my painted ones look A LOT better
tinted my taillights with 5% cling tint

9/1/07-custom taillight job
got the taillights out
got the lenses off the housings, this was after i started sanding the black
whats the wierdest thing youve found in a taillight?? i found a hornets nest

the reason i took em all apart,i put chrome tape on the inside of the housing to brightin up the lights,since i occasionaly have em tinted
i also did the top around on the inside of the lense to get it as bright as possible

9/2/07-cleaned and painted the hood latch support,i removed these from my 85 5th (parts car)
painted the hood latch area gloss black
got the support brace that goes from the bottom of the radiatorsupport to the above piece painted gloss black
safety lacth painted gloss black
hood latch in a bucket of acid (cleaned other parts of the project with this also)
hood latch painted silver
the hood latch area before, all greasy grimy ugly
the hood latch area now,all clean and shinny

9/14/07-custom clear sidemarker lights.
factory orange sidemarker lights off our parts car
busted the lense off
chrome taped the back
got the clear lense on,you can see the differance between the two
what i used to cut the lenses out of. backup light off our 1987 oldsmobile cutlass enduro car

9/20/07-blacked out spokes.
all the spokes chrome
front 50 spokes black and the back 50 chrome
decided i didnt like the 50/50 look so i went all black. ill get some pics durin the day. oh ya i used black straws lol. got a box of 500 straws for $2.11

2/9/08-bought a header panel,taillight,sidemarker lights and othe misc items from a dodge diplomat SE for $50. im gonna put the headlight bezels and the grille cross from the dip on my 5th

what i use to keep my shit clean:mothers wax,mequiers aluminum and mag wax,scrubbin bubbles(to clean the white walls),and eagle one tire shine for the tires and the vinyl roof
almost forgot about the california car duster
