This is my 1969 Olds 442 Convertible with a 455
This is a pic of me driving my new car.
When I got her home I noticed it was leaking alot of oil. Upon inspection the oil was coming from the rear main seal. Soooo....
off the Harbor Freight I went to purchase a cherry picker,chain,and
a torque wrench.
These are the pics of the motor pull.
Sorry that the carb is covered but we will get to that later

OFF WITH THE HOOD!!!
We got the motor all painted and ready to go back in.
New chrome oil pan
All washed and waxed
We got her all put together just in time for the Cruse at the A&W
Taken her out for a spin
After the motor was put back in there was NO oil leaking soooo if anyone ever does a rear main seal on these dont use the stock rope seal order a rubber one from yearone.com
