about me:
my name is anthony. i used to sell cars at santa monica subaru and loved every minute of it! i'm an avid car enthusiast with an emphasis on subaru's. i've owned and worked on many different brands and types of vehicles and have no issues with getting my hands dirty. as a matter of fact, i prefer to work without gloves on!
the car:
apr 07 - traded in my 2004 platinum silver metallic wrx for a 2007 urban gray metallic wrx. this one came equipped with an spt short shift kit which i didn't mind. it did however, come with a rear spoiler which i immediately remedied by swapping trunklids with a 2.5i owner! i then got 15% tint done at the dealer. my first modification was a tanabe medalion touring cat-back exhaust. i opted for this exhaust because it has a clean appearance and is very quiet for being a 3" exhaust.
may 07 - tein h-tech lowering springs join the mix. -1.80" up front and -0.75" in the rear. the car sits nice and even, it rides real nice, and it's not too low!
may 07 - a friend of mine sold me an injen wrinkle red cold air intake after he decided to go for a bigger turbo. i didn't like the response of the cold air so i installed it as a short ram. then i decided to paint it black since it really stuck out like a sore thumb. i also disabled the daytime running lights since they did me no good. i'll probably get an h.i.d. retrofit later on so this gets me ready for that. so far so good!
may 07 - nothing new, just washed my car and took some pics!
june 07 - things are moving right along! thanks to the staff at wheeldude.com (formerly subydude.com) for all their help in getting the wheels i wanted! rota tarmac 3's, hyper silver, 18x8 +48 5x100 wrapped in falken fk-452's 225/40/48. i opted to leave the center caps off and they're held on by chrome closed end kyokugen lugnuts. nice!
