AUDIO
All the wiring took about 3-4 months during the 06/07 Winter. I can't imagine the man hours I spent but on that wiring alone I spent roughly $450. Well worth it IMO.

I just replaced my old Alpine head unit with a brand new Pioneer DEH-P690UB. The motorized faceplate covers the CD slot which makes it look really clean. The blue OEL (Organic Electro-Luminescent) display matches my color scheme perfectly.

There is a USB 2.0 connector that allows the connection of any USB device. I'm using the auxiliary IP-Bus input to connect my Sirius Stiletto Satellite Radio. The audio quality is absolutely amazing!
The Hi-Volt pre-outs (4V) made a huge difference with the way my subs sound. The bass is a lot deeper and I'm not drawing as many amps on big bass hits. The highs are more crisp too.
As you can see in the first picture I have satelitte radio. I bought the Stiletto SL100 in March 2007. I bought a mounting bracket from pro-fit-international. I love the setup, its a stretch but not out of reach. I have no need for an I-pod because the SL100 can store mp3's along with recorded satellite material.

When I first installed my audio system I bought the Dual 2-12" XNBP12D subs, 600 watts RMS. I think they were the first blue lights in my car. I haven't changed the subs because the blue lighting adds to the the color scheme. They're aren't the most expensive or powerful but for the size of my car and the current headunit I don't need much more.

The two front door speakers are 6.5" Kenwood KFC-1679ie co-axial speakers, 40 watts RMS. When I get the money I'm looking to upgrade to the Boston Acoustics SL65, 60 watts RMS and amp them.
The two rear speakers I installed the first week of May 2007. 6"x9" Boston Acoustics SX 95, 60 watts RMS. The Kenwoods I had were blown so I needed an upgrade.

It felt good to get my rear deck re-installed as I had the panals all apart for the install for 2 weeks while I waited for the speakers to be ordered.
Overall, between the head unit, stiletto, door speakers, rear deck speakers, subs and amp, I've spent about $1300 on my stereo system over a period of 2-3 years. Not outrageous but a pretty penny.
