WIRING: ACCESSORIES

I haven't talked about the additional accessories in/on my Camry but while we're talking about wiring I'm going to finish the discussion.

I had to drill 3 additional holes through my firewall to run the positve and negative 4 gauge stinger audio cables (And additional wires) from the stinger battery terminals. Looking from the engine is the left picture and looking underneath the kick panal is the right.

With roughly a dozen lighting accessories (My car isn't fast so I have to make it look good and turn some heads) I needed somewhere to store everything.

That somewhere ended up being under my front driver side kick panal. Below you will find my "Distribution Panal"

I have 6 distribution blocks on that panal which measures roughly 12" x 12". You could say I made the most out of my space. One "T" is postive (right), the other "T" is negative (left). Both "T's" are 4 gauge D-blocks. Those both go to smaller D-blocks, 4 gauge in & 8 gauge out.

The two thin, long blocks in the upper left corner are fused for all my accessories. The left most D-block supplies my 3 A-pillar gauges and the dimmer. That gets power from the D-block to its right. The other 5 positions are used for other accessories.

The black square with the yellow wire running through it is a transducer for my gauge on my A-pillar. The gauge displays current/how many Amps I am drawing through all accessories and my amp/subs.

The third position on both "T" D-blocks run along under the side panals to the back seat...

To more Distribution Blocks...

These provide power to my amp/subs and additional accessories in the trunk. Eventually when I install a capacitor for my system and amp the door and rear deck speakers I won't have to go far for power and grounds.

2 Distribution Blocks, one 4 gauge in, four 8 gauge out. I'm ready for anything!
