Update 4/11/04: Haven't updated a while but the car's been through a lot. On Friday the 13th (of February) I hit a truck going pretty slow, but because my bumper went below his, it messed my car real nice. Hood, headlights, grille, radiator and radiator support all had to be replaced, costed about 2K. The car now has the original corner lights due to one of the clear corners being smashed up in the accident. Before that in January, I put Kicker RMB6s (midbass drivers) in the doors but they sound kind of funny so I'm gonna make a custom enclosure type thing for em. I have Infinity Perfects in Q-Logic kickpods ready to be installed and ran off the same amp as the Kickers. Haven't been able to take pics of anything cause my mom's got the digicam with her in Pennsylvania.
Update 6/14/03: Got my new deck and installed it yesterday. Installed my
subs and amp again, but this time I did a much nicer install. I'll get pics up soon. I guess I'll stick with these subs and amp for a while 'cause of the guy who ripped me off on eBay (trying to get my money back for that...). I need to pay for other things first before I can go for competition audio. Thinkin maybe a Brahma 12"... we'll see. Was gonna go with Digital Designs but things didn't turn out to well with eBay and DD subs cost a bit more.
Update: 6/6/03: No more school! Completely removed my system because I'm upgrading everything. Everything except the deck is for sale because it's been sold already. I'd like $300 for the subs, box, amp and wiring kit (4 gauge). Please leave a message if interested. Oh yeah, also replaced my front brake pads today. I wouldn't be telling you this if I didn't include this true story. So today we changed my front brakes at my friends house. Took about a half hour, not too bad. Also, cleaned my car since he has an air compressor which makes things much easier. As I was leaving, I noticed the breaks didn't feel any stronger than before, but I figured it was just because I had to break them in. So, fast-foward 6 hours, me and my friends are driving towards the Go Kart place in Chicopee. I push the brake petal lightly and notice no resistance at all, I try again several times, same result. So, I calmly tell everyone the breaks are out and we're going to die (OK, I'm lying about the second part). So, I put the hazard lights on, slow down by using a combination of downshifting with the automatic and using the ebrake, and take the next exit. And basically, we looked at the brake fluid resevoir, see that it's empty, find out that my friend didn't tighten the valve all the way after bleeding the brakes. So we goto a gas station, buy brake fluid, fix the whole damn thing with the shitty jack and wrench that comes with the car. End of story. OK, well it's not that great of a story but it was kinda scary.
Update 5/29/03: Got clear corner and clear bumper lights. Went to Import Evolution last Sunday.
Update 5/18/03: Got a pair of Sylvania Silverstars for my low beams. Added 2 night pictures of the lights (one side has new bulb, one side has old). It was my 18th birthday on Tuesday, happy birthyday me... I'm suck a dork.
Update 5/11/03: Pictures! The color of my car is Silver Green Pearl Metallic Clearcoat or Silverleaf. It's basically silver with a green tint and it is a factory color that is very hard to find.
Update 3/26/03: Replaced the Kenwood subs (KFC-3005) with Infinity Reference 1220w's. They have much tighter bass and even cost less.
2/22/03: I recently got my dad's '95 Camry LE because he bought a Prius. Is it me or does the Prius have the same frame as the Echo? Anyway, not going to do much to this car even though I am buying it from my dad. Might install keyless entry, an alarm and/or remote start. Finally got my system installed. I bumped a car pretty hard but it didn't do much damange. Unfortunately, my grille area is pushed in about half an inch and the grille was cracked. Some black stuff behind the grille broke too, and the emblem fell off. The worser part is the scratched up paint on the front. It now looks like it has eyebrows above the headlights because of the rubber stuff you can now see.
Front. If you look closely you can see the damage on the front bumper and grille area. Before and after clear corner and bumper lights and Silverstars.

Left, Right

Back, Replacement Antenna. The antenna looks a little different than OEM ones and the reception might not be as good, but I never listen to the radio anyway.

Broken Mirror, hit it on the garage after I fucked up my system only to realize later I blew a fuse.

Pictures of Silverstars at night. The driver's side headlight had the silverstar bulb and the passenger's side still had the regular ones (OEM or not I don't know). Wow, my grille looks really cool in that left picture!

My mom's 99 Camry XLE. She doesn't have clear corners... it's just the angle.
