This is my third Volvo (previously owned an '82 245 and a '94 855 Turbo) and no doubt my favorite. I waited patiently for it, and finally happened to be in the right place at the right time. It is one of 351 1998 T5's equipped with 5-speed manual transmissions. Pretty hard to find, especially in this condition and with a charcoal interior (I'll pass on the tan). I bought it in 2006 with only 57k miles on it, from the original owner who always serviced it religiously at the local Volvo dealer where it was purchase brand new in late 1997.

Anyway, the car now has some mild mods--kind of the usual stuff for those of us over at volvospeed.com.
The main things:
IPD ECU, IPD 2.5" stainless exhaust, silicone vac lines, VDO boost gauge, Powerslot rotors, EBC pads, ATE superblue racing brake fluid, TME Sweden springs, Bilstein dampers, IPD 25/22mm sway bars, 18" S60R Pegasus rims, XC70 grille, and some other cosmetic stuff.

It's very fast, though I haven't been able to lay down any great times at LACR due to traction/clutch issues at launch. The car is really at home in the local canyons. Enjoy--you can find out more details about specific mods in my garage over at volvospeed--click
