This is my 83 Trans Am. I just got it, so I have a lot to do.
The current mods are 84 bulge hood, 82 PMD black leather seats and black interior. 4.11 gears.
The car was in poor shape when I got her. I'll update progress as I get to it. So far I havent done much. I have replaced door lock cylinders, 3 door handles replaced, new seals on triangles at front of side windows, and today I swapped the electronic q-jet carb for an older style non-electronic q-jet. She runs a bit better now.
I am not keeping the crappy stock LG4 305. I have already bought a complete 96 LT1 350. I had to buy a new computer and get the bearings replaced, but the engine will be dropped in the car by end of September. I dont think it will take much to boost its power up to 350 or 400. I will do a few mods to it while rebuilding it.
My goal for the next year is to get the car at around 400 hp, and new paint. Of course I have a million other small things that must also be done.
