Our Road Show competition entry was a 1993 Nissan Skyline R33. The owner was overseas and spotted the car, and after nine months it arrived just in time for the build off. Four of our specialists did all the work after hours so we could still take care of customers during the day. T
he car had the battery in the rear, as well as the fuse box, and both were moved to make space for the woofer. The battery was moved to a side panel in the trunk and the fuse box was moved to the passenger side inside rear in a hidden compartment. The amps are flushed into the floor of the trunk and the woofers are in a fiberglass custom enclosure facing back. The front tweeters were mounted into the air vents on the dash. Everything on this install was done with the objective of keeping the car looking factory to save on its overall value. The sound quality is fantastic and we ended up placing 5th in the Pioneer Build-Off.
