I purchased this jeep in 2003 after a stint overseas as a possible project and it set up unitl Sept. 2006. The jeep was all original and in decent shape aside from a little rust here and there. The project started as a basic rebuild to the drivetrain and suspension to make the jeep mechanically sound and things just mushroomed from there. The jeep has been completely disassembled with every part either replaced new or refurbished. I wanted to maintain the original look (aside from the color change),with some nice upgrades. The frame and misc. parts including roll bar and wheels have been powder coated. The body was soda blasted and coated nonmetallic blue. The golden eagle decal turned out to be a piece of sh%#, so it will be airbrushed on. i will adding pics as it progresses and hope to have it complete by July '07
