This is a 2004 Dale Jr Signature Series Monte Carlo SS. I've owned it 2 1/2 years. I always dreamed of making some kind of Nascar replica. Although I had envisioned something older, my wife wanted something newer as this would be our daily driver (in summer at least). This Special Edition supercharged Chevy was an awesome compromise and perfect starting point.

Yeah, yeah... I put the ratings back...
I removed the ratings from this page at one time, as they are a source of frustration to me. People leave such positive comments and believe me - I know this car is loved. Please don't take it as arrogance, but most people will never know or understand the love this car gets with their own cars. It brings delight to every child I pass on the streets like nothing I've every seen. Nothing! Whether it's a Lamborghini or a classic customized low rider with a hundred thousand sunk into it - it will not draw attention like this car. People honk going down the road to give me thumbs up. Sometimes I am followed so people can talk to me about the car when I stop in get out. When its parked at work I see families piling out of mini-vans to pose around it. So many people take pictures of it every single day! That is not my fault and I have no problem with this because people love this car and it makes people happy just to see it. I think that is wonderful.
But on CarDomain I get jealous haters rating my car low because somehow they think that makes their car better. I hardly think that the public would react the way they do to a car worth only 3 stars.
Before the haters:
I'm not trying to compete or dis anyone elses ride. I'm just trying to share this car with others who are interested and I know a lot of people are.
