My 2001 BMW 740iL Sport! I love this car. It is totally stock and really needs nothing else, as far as I'm concerned. This car simply rocks! With only 80K miles on it. It is practically perfect.

Valley Pan gasket. If you haven't changed it yet, you may want to be ready. Here are some High lights/pics. Big thanks go to Mike R, Mike J, Robert G. Farhod S. Thomas K. Mine needed it at 102K

Intake up and out of the way.. yes a lot of sensors had to be disconnected.

hgjacobsen's 2001 BMW 7-Series

Did not have to disconnect fuel line or MAF sensor

hgjacobsen's 2001 BMW 7-Series

Used a piece of 2X4 to hold back end up to access the 20 bolts holding the valley pan

Nice BLUE BMW coolant, a bit diluted as I kept adding water to keeop from overheating.

hgjacobsen's 2001 BMW 7-Series

Waterpump had to come out, so that means, belts, crank pulley...

After second/third attempt, as you can see fresh expensive coolant...

No way, you're in IB? Im like across the way from you in Chula Vista. Good to see another 7 close by. I'm looking into a brake kit and a halo upgrade, any suggestions? Oh yeah, where did you get that front rub strip to replace the front license plate holder. I need one. Such a clean ride. Take care man, and happy motoring!
