THE BASICS
I purchased this super hot 2006 Lucerne CSX used in December 2006... I mean "pre-owned". It had 4000 miles on the odometer after doing a 10 month tour of duty as a pool car for execs at GM World Headquarters. There were a few cosmetic blemishes when I took delivery, but I saved a cool $10G's. That left more than enough cash to add some tasteful mods.
The 2006 Lucerne CSX has a Northstar V8, Harman/Kardon audio system, halogen fog lamps, dual stainless steel exhaust, and custom perforated leather-appointed seating. Mine adds power moonroof, heated and air-conditioned memory seats, Onstar w/ turn by turn navigation, homelink, backup assist, etc. In fact, the only thing I *wish* I had was the heated steering wheel available on the 07's but not on mine.

WINDOW TINT
I like it dark everywhere including the winshield. Sure it's illegal in Michigan but so far I haven't received any tickets. Small details mean everything with window tint... for instance, I never liked tint jobs where the tech trimmed around the CHMSL (center high mounted stop lamp). If you have a car with the CHMSL on the package tray, take it off before you tint the rear window. It will look 1000% better!!

WHEELS
I finally decided to replace the factory wheels in August 2009. Of course, I'll put the OEM wheels back on it for the LOOOOONG Michigan winters (salt covered roads and rim-killing potholes). These are 20" Dale Earnhardt Jr. DMP's with the CHROME finish. They also come in a BLACK CHROME version, but I liked these better since they almost look like the stock wheels from 25 feet... only much MEANER. I try to stay away from wheels that are too flashy since they tend to stand out too much and take away from the look of the car itself.
