only 596 black FORMULA`s were produced in `98.i purchased my FIREBIRD FORMULA LS1 powered 350 less than 1.5 years ago,completely bone stock & as of today(03/24/08)here are the mods ive done:ive added the Viper 5000 2 way alarm system,collectors edition trans am badging,collectors edition floormats,CETA WS6 badging,dark window tint,clear firebird molded front license plate cover,clear front/rear side markers,smoothlocks,3rd brake light mod,polished center section between taillights,racing red painted calipers,carbon fiber vinyl overlays,SLP FIREHAWK functional ram air hood w/ heat extractors,SLP flowpac cold air induction package,throttle body bypass,SLP loudmouth1 catback exhaust,PACESETTER jet-hot coated long-tube headers,off road y-pipe,EIBACH pro-kit lowering springs,MONROE shocks,HAWK performance brake pads,slotted & drilled rotors,black C6 motorsport corvette wheels w/ polished lip size 18x8.5 front 19x9.5 rear,Toyo Proxes 4 tires sizes 275/35/18 up front & 295/30/19 rear tires. future plans for my bird include dual cutouts,pillar pod w/ gauges,audio upgrades,LS6 intake,port/polish throttle body & a tune. this is my 5th firebird ive owned since i got my 1st one at 16 yrs old.it was an `83 TRANS AM w/ 305 cross-fire fuel inj.,next was my `91 GTA TRANS AM hardtop w/ 350 tpi,followed by my rare`88 GTA TRANS AM NOTCHBACK w/ 350 tpi,then i bought a `95 TRANS AM w/ 350 LT1,& now i own my 1st FORMULA.it is not my daily driver & spends most of the year in our garage.
