This page is for my new Malibu. I just bought her 5/3/07 for $650. She is my new daily driver, so I can get more aggressive with my other Malibu.

The car is solid, just has a few rust spots. Frame & underbelly still has the factory option undercoating on it, very little rust going on down there. Interior is well...good enough for me :)

Shes has a 267-2bbl, TH350, 7.5" rear with desert gears, has a brand new stainless cat, cat-back stock replacement exhaust (2"), new clutch fan, new tires (205/75-14), & a few other little things.

I got her home on 5/3/07. The next day, I aired up the tires, switched hubcaps, installed a new starter, PCV valve, adjusted the valves, replaced a worn rocker arm, performed an oil change, & added 2 quarts of Dex to the trans. She runs like a top!!! Also gets very good gas mileage (20+), way better then my other Malibu...which is set up for performance & gets like 12mpg downhill in neutral, haha.

Anyways, heres some pics of her :) The black '79 is my toy, & the white '80 is my best friends toy.

Well the other day, I slapped on a spare F41 package rear sway bar on the car, handles much better. Also last week, it needed a new alternator, but so far, shes drives great, i'm averaging about 21mpg--driving aggressivly. The other day my friend Austin busted out some towels & a little wax, & we discovered the car is a turquoise (sp? lol) metallic color!!! I thought the car was blue! lol

Last weekend, I finally had enough peace & quiet...so I quickly welded up a muffler delete for a little noise, its still very quiet (2" single exhaust & still has a cat), but at least I can hear if shes running now! I'll try to get a video of her one day :) I also installed my old Pioneer Premier DEH-240F headunit, now I can jam out to my mix cds, & pull in radio signals better.

Here's a pic of the F41 rear bar, & the straight pipe.

low beams some more, that glare really is not there, its the camera, you have to kneel down on your knees & dip your head in the beam to get any light, there is no wasted light at all

Well a little while back MaliBlue had weird electrical issues, which turned out to be just the battery. Then it blew out the rear hard line feeding the rear brakes. Fixed that with some new line & completly flushed the system with fresh Valvoline synthetic brake fluid.

A few weeks ago (the night the brake got fixed) she developes a rod knock...lovely. So after a few days searching, I found an engine (& stand) for $100 bucks on Craigslist.

Its a 200HP(gross) 307 out of a 1970 Chevelle, with a claimed 60K on it. I beleive it too, the insides are clean & not gunked up, & the cylinders look great, with clean piston tops. So I am going to clean it up, spray some fresh GM Blue on it, swap the 267 intake & manifolds on there initially, & throw it in MaliBlue for the winter. Eventully it will get a 4bbl & I'll open the exhaust up down the road.

First coat of GM Blue...not perfect, but like it really matters? Lookes better then chipped up, grimey Chevy Orange.

Nice G-body! Performance improvements for these cars are endless!!I hade a coupe years ago; just adding bigger sway bars and fresh shocks made that car glued to the pavement!!a 454 replaced the 350, but I never finished it...damn...
