My '91 Dynasty. My grandma gave it to me in summer of 2005, ive been keeping it maintained and puttin in little "extras" ever since. And the best part is, its only got 84,300 miles

It is now offically for sale for $1,400. It will be sold with the Factory am/fm cassette radio in, which does not play any sound.

On the shoulder of I-94 somewhere in Illinois or Indiana, i didnt really know exactly where we were when it dropped.

GASP! there it is! ...the problem. The rear left coil spring just dropped right off the damn car.

Things I have done:

- Bosch oxygen sensor
- Bosch Platinum spark plugs
- Spark plug wires
- K&N air filter
- Rotors
- Sony 6X9 Xplod's speakers in the rear
- Alpine 5 1/4's in the doors
- Rear shocks
- Rear springs
- Front struts
- Front springs
- Pioneer DEH-1600 C.D. player
- Chopped out converter and replaced with straight pipe to muffler
- Oil level sensor

I don't know about older models, but '91 and up all have speaker wires in the dash, even if there are no speakers there. The one on the passenger side is the easiest one to find, it's taped to the wiring harness closest to the hole. The driver's side was a total bitch to find. it's tucked up where you can't see it, you'll have to poke around a bit to find that one. Even though the wires are there, they won't be hooked up... well, they might be. There are two large connectors behind the glove box. One should be blue, one brown. Everything runs through there, including the speaker wires. Basically, everything on the front of the dash (radio, turn signals, wipers, gauges, lights, etc...) runs over there. That is the only harness that changes car to car. The harness going fron the junction to other things (like the speakers... all the speakers) is the same in every car. The point is, you'll need to find the wires for the front speakers and splice them with the dash speakers. Keep in mind this will change the overall impedance of the speakers. two 4ohm speakers wired in paralell will be like one 2ohm speaker. Make sure your stareo is 2ohm stable, or use 8ohm speakers. 4ohm is pretty standard, 8ohm sounds the best (but needs lots of power), 2ohm is usually reserved for subwoofers... it may sound wierd playing anything above 200Hz.

Hey man, Usually there are no dash speakers under the grilles in a Dynasty, only New Yorker and Fifth Avenue. If you're installing new speakers, just splice the wiring to your other front speakers and run it inside the dash. I did this all without having to take the dash apart.

You said your door speakers blew. Go to sonicelectronix.com. Get volfenhag 5 1/4". They are $20 + shipping and they are 350 watts. I can turn my sterio up all the way and they still sound great, the things will not blow. My front speakers alone are louder than alot of my friends entire systems. I picked up my Volfenhag front and my Boss back speakers (500 watt) for under $100 after shipping from sonic and I highly recomend them.
