1installer's 1997 Mitsubishi EclipseCustom ABS plastic fabrication indash consisting of the faceplate off the head unit detached and flush mounted (sunk) in a seperate pannel in place of the factory front vents. The factory Controls were re-mounted along the pannel, and the front vents were reverted to the side vents.

1installer's 1997 Mitsubishi EclipseIn the factory head unit location resides the RDAT of a RF Symmetry EPX2 and the brain of the head unit CD player, which is no longer accessible. The slot opening in the panel is now used for the Indash slot DVD player of the PC. The Indash CD player is not necessary because of the CD changer. All fabrication was done using ABS plastic and fillers. The eject button for the DVD drive is stealth mounted into the shift boot.
