I hope you enjoy viewing the pics of my 1992 Toyota pickup with a 1995 Chevy LT1 V8.
Here are the Before and After shoots.
Like many, I became attached to my first car. In my case it was this 92 2wd Toyota PU.
As a poor teenager, I couldn't afford much more than the base 4-banger model 2wd, so I had to make do by slowly adding upgrades over the years. A/C and power steering came first. Then I added other niceties like tilt column, intermit wipers, cloth seats, carpet etc...
While this made a great daily driver, for 200,000+ miles, it just never had enough power. Tempted as I was to turbo charge/mod the factory 22RE, I kept the PU mostly stock and bought other cars to satisfy my horsepower desires. That all changed when I won an auction on a dented 1995 Buick Roadmaster with 65,000+ miles on the odometer for $1300.
16 days later... The conversion was complete.
