Quiet Storm: (n.) Making Little or No Noise To Deliver A Powerfull Strike.

I'm searching around Southern Cali for potential Quiet Storm members. Your ride must be a sleeper and obviously quick. What's a sleeper? A Sleeper is a vehicle who look mostly stock on the outside but has the Power under the hood & the Driver to back it up that they are quick. No Ricer Gear allowed. Can be Domestic or Import, Four-Banger to V8, it doesn't matter. We race @ California Speedway when the Dragstrip is open as well as Irwindale. Attend Commercial drag racing events and host our own Nite Cruises as well. Plus you get to hang out with Owners/Tuners from all makes and models. Interested? Hit me up here on Cardomain or email.
So What Is A Ricer? Someone Who Makes Their Car Look Fast But It's Really Just For Looks and sometimes ugly looks. These Are People Who Would Rather Pour Money Into Wings & Stickers Rather Than Porting & Polishing Or Pistons & Cams. Examples are; More Stickers Than a Nascar, Huge Jet Fighter Wings, Mufflers bigger than a Smoke-Stack, More Neon Lights than Las Vegas. This Can Include Domestic & Import Cars. 10/12/08 - "Pulled out my 218/350" cams and did a little mix n' match camshaft combo swap. I swapped in an Imark RS Intake Cam (200/330") with a 1.6 GSi Exhaust Exhaust Cam (200/300"). Adding new Cam Cap bearing bolts & set my SAFC2 to the same specs the last time I ran the RS cams. Engine pulls hard & is louder than ever. You can really hear the Valves cracking. New Dyno-Tuned numbers coming soon."
03/30/07 - "After a little practice with the street DOT's, I managed to pull a 10.1 @ 68mph with a 2.1 60'.
