General:

Vehicle is a 1987 suzuki samurai. Nearly everything is bone stock. I painted the vehicle myself in 2005. It has seen its share of trails even sitting stock. I am ready for extra mods, including lift and tires of course. I am not sure weather i am going to modify this samurai for a trail rig, or find another to build. Either way there will soon be better trail pics!!

Sadly the only two muddin pics. I promise it has been on plenty of trails, more pics will come soon.

I fortunately do have a few pics from the paint job.

Samurai before any work... it had been behind my employers garage for 7 years and had only been driven around 2000 miles in that time. The paint was worn and needed attention. I talked my employer, Ralph, into letting me paint it for my senior project in high school. He owns a body shop and has years of expirence.

Right: after clear coat... its hard to see but if you look close you notice a darker gray color along trim peices... this was done and fogged lightly up into the body color, and was also done on door handles and key holes.

after all paint was complete... later red pin striping was added.

Soon after the paint job I was able to buy the samurai from Ralph. It is in great condition in and out. Only just over 100,000 miles. I cant believe the ability of the samurai stock. Check out my next page and please share any advice or recomendations.
