Yes !!!! These tough LDV's are still built in South Africa.
This little love of mine is a 2006 1400 champ.
Engine mods include:
TNT branch manifold
Cowley 50mm Freeflow exhaust
K&N race filter
Future planned engine modes:
2x 38 SU sidedraugt carbs or Fuel injection
Billit cam
Port polishing and grinding
Engine balancing
Dry sump
There may also be a T3 turbo in the pipeline aswell.
BLUE VAN:
This is my buddy's van.
It is no longer a stock 1400cc van.
It has been transplanted with a 2Liter 16valve power plant inported from japan.
It has a Nissan hardbody diff and gearbox installed to get the power down.
Runs +/- 13 to 14 second quarter mile.
