This is my '69 Torino Cobra with the 428ci super cobra jet engine. Right now i'm in the process of putting it all back together. I've been polishing all the chrome and had all of the body parts powder coated(like the headlight housings and bumper brackets). Its a work in progress. Tell me what you think.
Here are some more recent pictures. After I had the body stripped to bare metal and painted black basecoat clearcoat.
And here it is when I first got it. It had been sitting for about 12 years. The previous owner bought it in 1970 from the original owner, raced it a little and drove it too. It has about 43000 original miles and the body is solid all the way around. It started right up and runs great.
Interior... All original except the front seats. They came out of a late 60's Chevelle i think (maybe some other GM). They are in great shape but I plan on selling them and getting the original bucket seats that came with the car.
The engine.. The original 428scj bored 30 over, dual 600cfm quads, built to about 500hp. 4-speed manual with 4.56 gears
