So this is my dad's 1981 Datsun 280zx 2+2. He is the original owner and bought it right off the lot. For the price that he bought it for he has put that much back into it. It has driven from the east coast to the west coast many times and now has her final home. He has never had any problems with the motor or trans. It has roughly 123,000 miles on it. He has had the suspension redone but that it is. Because of sun damage he got all new badges.
The exterior is a metalic silver with metalic charcoal stripes down the center. It was taken all the way down to bare metal where the body lines wernt staright and were fixed. It has 3 coats of clear on it and looks amazing in the light.
The rims are 17 x 7 inch Konigs, with special adapters due to the lug nut pattern. The wheels are Yokohama.
This picture is to show how straight the body lines are on the car.
He decided not to put the side skirts on since when he bought the car he got the optional chrome moldings on the side and he does not see many with them so he kept them.
The motor is stock but here is a picture of it.
This last picture is to show the height difference in my truck and my dads car, you should check it out as well.
For all the info on the parts and places he used view page three.
