25 May 2007 - Autometer Sport-Comp II 52mm boost/vacuum gauge installed
Looks great during the daytime, but superbright to the point of being annoying at night. It also doesn't quite match the speedo/tach lights as they are a slight green color and the boost gauge is a superbright white.
I'll have to eventually add a potientiameter/dimmer on it to adjust the brightness as well as possibly rewiring it to my headlight switch so I can turn the light on and off.
The hardest part was probably running the hose and deciding where to mount the gauge.
Reads about 18-20 vacuum when idle when car is warmed up and spiked at about 12 psi when at WOT.
I should probably have used black zip ties, oh well ... easy fix.

Tapped into cigarette lighter fuse.

I mounted the gauge at the edge of the bezel and ran the hose and wires behind it. Not entirely clean but clean enough. I'll get some wire loom and wrap it up. The gauge sticks out a little from the pod because I used female connectors on the back to connect the wires.
