RATE MY VEGA! TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!!
This is my 1972 Pro Street Vega GT. It has a 350ci mouse bored .030",topped with a Weiand 2-4 tunnel ram and a set of 450 cfm Holleys. It has a set of "Camel hump" fuelie heads that flow good with 1.94" intake and 1.55" exhaust valves. A solid lift- flat tapet Competition Cams cam with .525" lift make this a rumbling little buggy. Ignition is provided by an Accel Super coil charging an Accel dual points distributor. Stock rods with flat top pistons are connected to a steel crank with 4-bolt mains holding it together. It has a 4200 stall torque converter in a turbo 350 trans going to a narrowed 12 bolt rear, housing 456 gears and strange axles. Traction is provided by some fat Mickeys(29.50) mounted on classic, brushed aluminum Centerlines. A four link suspension with coilover shocks and a 6pt cage make it safe, stiff and really hook up! Estimated horsepower 500+!!
