I started building the system in this car because I hated the factory system that was in it. The factory was a bose system with three total speakers. Two 6.5 in the front, and one 6.5 in the hatch. It SUCKED. But one year later I have gotten near the finish of this project. (headunit) Alpine CD detachable face, installed in the factory location. (crossover) Orion 3-way crossover (Amps) Two 600-watt Kenwoods bridged.......(some say that the amps couldn't handle it) (front and rear drivers) alpine 6.5 (soon to upgrade to memphis) (subs) Kicker compVR's 12d's in a sealed box custom made to match the rear (of what chevy called a trunk) Nothing spectacular but hey it is a whole lot better than what would come standard. This is the top veiw of the box that is custom fit to the car's hatch/trunkThis was my faithfull companion while installing my system........This is the beginning of the install of my box. There is more to come later..........Not the prettiest sight but hey after a long hard day of installing you would look like me too. and this is the car (obviously huh)And this is the little garage that this came out of. Note...... these are the installers. You can only guess how many times we bumped heads trying to configure something to work in that car. want to see more........ check out another one of our creations at http://members.sounddomain.com/killerloopFront speakers tucked away in the factory location in the doors....for the headphone effect Chevy decided to put the rear factory speakers right at the person riding in the back seat's ears. (Go Figure}Still in the works but now you can get a feel of the guts of the systemFor all of you ford fans............ well I guess you can see........
