Hello all, I recently moved from Hawaii to Maryland (courtesy of the U.S. Air Force.) Will get some Maryland pics up soon!
These were taken on May 17th on Oahu's North Shore. For you local folks, it's the North Shore side of Kaena Point, out past Dillingham field. This is where the plane crash scene from Lost was filmed. Nothing too crazy, just a rough road, a little mud and some puddles. Can't beat the view though. Aloha!

These were taken the day I bought my Commander.

This is a 2006 Commander Limited 4x4. It comes with the following standard: side airbags, anti-lock brakes, 4-wheel traction control, brake assist, enhanced accident response system, Parksense rear park assist, electronic stability, power rack and pinion, power sunroof with command view rear roof windows, rain sensitive windshield wipers, power front windows with one touch down, tire pressure monitor display, three climate zone controls, rear a/c, power front seats with driver memory, lumbar adjust, heated front seats, second row fold and tumble, third row folding seats, power adjustable pedals with memory, am/fm stereo radio w/ in dash 6-cd changer/mp3 player, boston acoustics premium sound system, steering wheel audio controls, sentry key theft deterrent system, memory for radio, driver seat and mirrors, traveler/trip computer, automatic headlamps, fog lamps, smartbeam headlamps, heated mirrors, roof rail crossbars.
The extra options I sprung for include a Deep Beryl Green paint job, 5.7L Hemi V-8 with multi displacement, DVD player with rear overhead LCD, 17" chrome rims, Quadra Drive 4-wheel drive, Graystone leather seats, Elec Ltd. Slip differential front and rear, Trailer Tow Group IV, Off-Road Group w/ skid plates and tow hooks and UConnect Hands Free Blue Tooth. The only options it doesn't have are the larger 18" rims, navigation system and rear back-up camera.
The only short-term modification I'm considering is a Hemi badge (very early Commanders didn't have them). Long term I'm considering a small lift and larger tires on the existing rims. I'm also considering LCD's in the front head rests, just have to find out if I can tie the factory DVD system into the aftermarket LCD.
I'm not considering larger rims or a different grill as I really like the factory look of those components and larger rims would probably get messed up if I took them on a trail. If it was 4x2 I'd go with bigger rims, but I don't buy Jeep 4x2s. If I was going to buy a 4x2 I'd of bought the Chrysler Aspen. Check them out when you get a chance, they're, in my oppinion, the pimpest factory SUVs out there. Thanks for looking!
Here's some pics of lifted Commanders. I think this is more what the Commander should have looked like from the factory. This is more my style and what I'd someday like to achieve (when my warranty expires, lol).

Here's my old 2004 Jeep Liberty Renegade 4x4 that I traded in for the Commander. It was a great ride with every possible factory option installed. The only mods were a Pioneer head unit and Infinty Basslink amp/sub woofer. It didn't really have enough space for the wife, baby and two dogs, so I traded it in for something bigger.

Here's my 1995 Wrangler Rio Grande YJ. The body was nice but the rest of it started falling apart the moment I bought it, I also traded it in for the Commander.
Here's my 2003 Honda Magna. It's an awesome bike! It has a V-4 engine. Mods include Vance and Hine full exhaust system, Dyna 3000 ignition coil, Dave Dodge Jet and Shim Kit, Kuryakn front and rear LED signals, Highway Hawk radiator cover, steel braided radiator hose cover, billet radiator cap cover, Corbin gunfighter seat, and custom cats eye tailight and license plate holder.
And here's my 1997 Chevy Camaro that I traded in for the Liberty Renegade. It had KN cold air induction, Pace Setter ceramic coated headers, 18' rims on Falken tires, a cat back exhaust system into dual slash tips, a Pioneer head unit and three way Infinity Kappa series speakers throughout. Unfortunately, the suspension and rims could not hold up against the rough Hawaiian pot holes, so I traded it in for something more rugged.
