News Flash! - Featured IS300 on Haltech's "What's Hot" section of their website!
Introduction:
This one of a kind Lexus IS300 Turbo "SportDesign" was built by Swift Racing Technologies (www.swiftracing.com). It features the original (completely built) 2JZ-GE motor, custom exhaust and intake manifolds, individual throttle bodies (ITB's) from a Gixxer 750 motorcycle, a Supra 6-speed tranny swap and much, much more (see Page 2 - Build Sheet).
To date, this car holds the 1/4 mile record for a 6-speed IS300. It ran a best time of 10.41 @ 142 mph. With the summer approaching I am looking to really put this car to the test. Check back often for more pics, videos and (hopefully) new records!
