Hey guys, its been a while since ive been on here, my first project camaro fell through cause of schooling... but im back in the saddle again! Heres the newer 81 Z28 i picked up that has already been a blast too work on... more progress to follow very soon!
My Buddy and i work hard ripping out all the old gaskets, and replacing everything that was accessable on the top end. Nice and shiny now!
The previous owner i would love to smack with a giant monkey wrench. He put in this god awful master power switch.. not only does it look bad but i hate how he cut up the console to do it! No worries! Its comin out soon! The gauges work awesome, but once again he half assed a job, were gonna custom make a tray for them.
Yes thats a berlinetta steering colomun, we ripped out the old one, cause the original was messed up badly. Im gonna change over the steering wheel back to the blue Z28 soon. Its kinda cool though cause the black is hardly noticeable.
Interior and upholstery is still in great shape!
I know this should be up top, but heres a pic of the engine before we tore into the upper end replacing gaskets and cleaning everything. God chrome cleaner works wonders!
Another mess the previous owner left me, was a jungle of wires.. some of them dont even lead to anywhere.. ahah gotta clean it up.
