This is a 1960 Dodge Matador that I restored from the ground up in a full body restoration. I set aside money every month while I was in the service and told my father that when I got out, I wanted a new car waiting for me at the airport. I gave him no further instructions other than that. The car he purchased for me was the 1960 Dodge Matador.

Having long since sold it, I decided some years ago, that when I had the opportunity, I would get another one and restore it to look like my original. About five or six years ago, I tracked down one in California, bought it, and had it shipped out to Missouri.
Here is the pictures of the Matador when I purchased it from a gentleman in California. There were only 6,119 Matador's made, and are likely less than thirty in exsistence. I purchased this car and two other cars to part out to help me complete one car. I don't remember how many original miles were on the car when I purchased it.
