I haven't been doing much lately. Just trying to get the odds and ends taken care of. I removed the bonnet and took everything from it. I think I will have it painted just to see if i like the color.
I got a pair of seats from a geo metro (suzuki swift) and striped them down.audiwagen80's 1980 Triumph Spitfireaudiwagen80's 1980 Triumph Spitfire

I am going to have to cut the frame down a bit to clear the convertible top.

I also stripped the valve cover and painted it bugatti blue.audiwagen80's 1980 Triumph Spitfire
Here is the engine with the "new" valve cover.

Here it is with all the emmision hoses removed and a new fuse and relay setup for the cooling fan.audiwagen80's 1980 Triumph Spitfire audiwagen80's 1980 Triumph Spitfire

I also installed a new 160 deg F thermostat, and a 180 deg F fan switch which is run by the relay on the bottom right of the pic.
