Here are the new CAI and shaker installed... March 09'

C&L 85mm Cold air system: I installed this with no problems. I purchased the mach 1 filter cover to use in place of the stock GT cover so that it would connect to the shaker ducting and be functional.

Now I bought the shaker setup off of a fellow member of the mustang forum I'm on. He had plans that he was given to fab up a 2V style bracket to mount the shaker. So I had these fabbed up, and on the car it went! The shaker sits higher than stock (almost too high), but it eliminates the need for spacers as some stock Mach owners use.

Here are the parts I bought for the hood portion of the swap.

Here is the shaker bracket which is 3 pieces mounted together with some bolts, and I tapped the holes for the adjustment studs from the factory 4V shaker bracket. Then the bracket was mounted on the engine using the alternator bolts and throttle linkage bolts.

There is still more to come as I have some parts piled waiting, but job loss has put those on hold. 6-18-09

the louvers are great I have had them on this car and my 98. (same set) and they still look great after 10 years of Texas driving. Plus it's hard to find places that will/can tint the entire back glass...now I don't have to worry about it.
