I picked this 85 golf up for a great price. Unfortunately, the body was in rough shape, and it needed a new clutch. After installing the clutch, and all the trimmings I decided to do something a little different with it... I have one VW that is lowered, so why not one that is lifted? well not as of yet, VR6 springs should fix that. Did the body work, a quick coat of paint, and I fabed up a new bumper and a skid plate. I have a couple more ideas of a more aggressive front bumper, and some ideas for the rear as well. Also thinking of fabing up a set of nerf bars, and an exterior spare tire bracket. Mane this, its reliable, solid and a lot of fun. Check out the garage for more of my past and current projects.

Car was sold to run in the 2008 BABE Rally. It made it there, but unfortunatly not back home. Ill; have some pictures up soon of its BABE status.
