First the car started off all stock with the 1.6 sohc engine, from there i bought a kia tranny/axles,spec stage 1 clutch, and ordered a 1.8 dohc bp engine(2nd generation) by mistake of the first generation. AFter finally getting that running for a few months i decided to go with the 1.8 first generation bp which i first intended on getting.
UPDATE: bearing went out in bp engine. i recently bought a 94 mx-3 gs, 93 thousand miles. Gonna keep the blue one to turbo or possibly sell it.(let me know if ur interested) The only thing that needs to be fixed to make it run is that it needs a new bearing( my guess) But the tranny is perfect with 80 thousand miles on it and the clutch has less than 50 miles on it. Also the axles have about 5000 miles on them. message me if u have questoins!
