hey, this is my Delorean DMC-12, VIN# 5239. I just bought it from the original owner. It has been sitting in a garage for 15 years, and definitely needs some work. I am gearing up for a restoration project, looking forward to living the dream!
How I found my baby....a little dusty.
Well, it finally arrived at my work. I work at a mechanic shop where I can start the rebuilding process, bringing the dream back to life!
The first time I "drove" a delorean, pretty fast for 3 Manpower.
And finally, me and my new baby in its new home. Cant wait to start working on it!

Alright, well, a lot has happened since I last updated the page. I have replaced the seats, stripped and cleaned the interior, replaced the window motors and switches, replaced the fuel pump, all coolant hoses and pipes, water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, wires and distributor. On my birthday, June 25th, I finally drove the car for the first time! It was great, but there is still a lot of work to do. These are pictures from that day. Enjoy!

Finally getting out of the workshop!
Well, even more has happened since I updated last, and I hadnt realized how long it had been since I updated this page! In late july I tried to smog the car to register it, and it passed! Unfortunately it blew the head gasket, and I later discovered blew holes through the side of both cylinder heads. I bought and installed a new top end, and as of last week got it running again. Only problem now is a massive fuel leak from the warm up regulator, and the fuel distributor is stuck...any suggestions?
