This is a page I've created for my 82 Camaro Z28.

ChevyThunder82's 1982 Chevrolet Camaro

It has the original Carbureted 305 LG4 in it.
I bought it in July of 1999 with 54,500 miles on it.
It currently has around 86,000 on it.

Update Monday, June 27, 2005
Registered the car last Friday and drove it all weekend! Just purchased all new steering components for the front end (ball joints, tie rods, tie rod adjusters, centerlink and idler arm) and also a Stewart Stage 1 Water Pump and a Griffin 31"x19" Aluminum radiator to help keep everything cool.

Update June 9, 2005
Yep, I fragged my posi...busted a posi side gear tooth clear off and all of the inner springs were FUBAR.

I decided to rebuild my 10 bolt instead of just getting a complete 12 bolt. After talking with Moser, they told me I can expect my newly rebuilt rear to handle around 400 RWHP, so I should be all set...until I get a new motor anyways :D.

Hopefully getting the gears/posi set up this weekend.

Here's all the stuff thats going in:
- Rear end coated with POR-15
- Eaton Performance Posi
- Motive 3.73 gears
- Summit Aluminum Differential Cover
- All new bearings and seals
- Moser Forged 28 Spline Axles
- ARP Wheel Studs
- Bilstein Shocks & Struts
- Eibach Pro-Kit Springs
- Spohn Lower Control Arms
- Spohn Adj. Panhard Rod
- Spohn 1" Rear Sway Bar

Hopefully I can get everything done and get it registered in about a week or two!!!!

*** December 2004 ***
Well, the remaining weak link in my car finally gave in. My stock 22 year old rear end is making a god awful clunk noise when going slow around turns. It is also tough to turn the tires by hand in reverse when it's off the ground and in neutral. I'm thinking maybe a spider gear let go. This is the first time I will have to replace anything major (because it broke) in the 5 years I have had this car. Right now it is hibernating for the winter and I will deal with the rear-end once it gets warm again. Aftermarket 12 Bolt might be an option and 3.73's will be the gearset of choice.

In the mean time I bought a truck to be my daily driver :D

*** UPDATE 9/26/04 ***
No more Q-Jet!!!
