This is what happens when your 280z doesn't like the hills on the way home from a street meet. The next day only a 100 metres from work the bolt holding the shock to the suspension assembly gave way going around a smooth corner. Imagine if it happened when I was flogging it down the Toodjay hills at 145 kph. It had to go home on a tow truck because the back wheel was hard up inside the wheel arch. I couldn't get a jack under the back until I put another under the middle of the car. She's had a new paint job by the previous owner but is showing signs of skin cancer already, cos the other car has squatters rights in the garage at moment. That one will be a targa top V8 Lexus powered quad cam, in a lightened body, (these cars are 500k's to heavy) with a modified auto box.
This one is currently for sale, around $5000, that includes the wheels and tyres. The Faranza's have only about 100 k's on the them and they were $250 each.

The broken bolt, and the old shockie that came away from the housing.
