DIY Fog Ring Trim
Well I always wanted the dual silver fog rings on the Mtech bumper. After denying the $50 paint job that the body shop wanted and refused to pay $60 for a set of pre painted fog rings, I painted my own heh. A bonus was that the same paint I used on the headlight trim will be the same paint for the fog rings, so they will match perfectly.
Items needed:
-Metallic Silver Spray Paint
-Paint Primer
-600Grit Sandpaper
-Water Bottle
-Masking Tape
-Auto wax
-Paint Sealer (optional [RECOMMENDED])

1) Take off the fog rings. Just pull them out.
2) Mask the parts so that ONLY the rings are visible.
3) Primer the rings. Do multiple light coats instead of one thick coat. After two-three layers of primer start the silver paint. Again do multiple light coats. Do a good 3 coats of it.
4) Once it is dry wet sand it. Use the spray bottle and mist some water on the rings. Sand them down with the water on the rings. Dont worry if the silver starts to come off, you will paint more later.
5) After sanding, make sure you get all the stuff off of the rings. Paint the rings silver again, maybe 2-3 more layers.
6) When thats dry, apply the optional paint sealent.
7) Apply wax on it to protect the paint. Give it a good 1-3 layers of wax. (I did not use paint sealent because I did not have it at the time)

*DIY painted headlight housing trim*Most 330Ci usually comes with factory silver headlight trims so I decided to have that on my car. I find the silver trim better looking than the basic black on black cars. BMW sells these headlight trims in their catalog or at any bmw parts department for $75MSRP. I decided to do this myself instead shelling out $75bucks. I went to Home Depot and got me the following items: Metallic Paint in spray can, Primer in a spray can, and 600 grit sand paper.(any hardware store should have the items) I spent under $10. It's a simple DIY, take out the trim, sand it, prime it twice, and have two coatings of paint.

BMW ZENTRUM
Recently I had the chance to experience the BMW Zentrum and the BMW Spatanburg Factory. (Located in Spartanburg, South Carolina) It was a great place and I highly recommend taking a visit.
