A little history...
This 1989 Camaro IROC Z was actually purchased new in 1989 by a guy I knew in high school. In 1990, the car was damaged in the parking lot of the auto shop when a WAY-FAST Mustang LX nothcback caugh fire right next to it. Most of the damage was cosmetic (paint, trim, tires). Eventually I ended up with it, modified the motor, repainted it (blue, with the black rally stripes seen in some of the pictures), and over the winter of 2004 - 2005 it underwent a few more significant changes :)

Here's the Camaro in front of our shop, with my brother's Mustang GT Convertible.

From a stock, blue IROC Z with a sunroof, combined with the t-top roof, doors and rear quarters off a purple RS... to a customized, Godzilla-Green, Z that won "Best Late Model F-Body/Camaro" at the 2005 Detroit Auto-Rama.

In addition to the functional "Ram-Air" Hood, the Z also sports a custom interior with Sparco seats, fiberglass dash/guage pods with AutoMeter gauges, suede dash top and door panels, a DVD video system and a Sony PS2, shaved door handles with remote access, custom roll cage, fiberglass speaker enclosure integrated into the rear roll cage, air bag suspension on all four corners w/ computer control module, custom tail-lights, H-4 headlight conversion, Boyd Coddington wheels, hand-made grill, custome fiberglass radiator shroud/ram-air system, a 400ci GM small block put together with a TON of parts from Summit Racing (with 500+hp on tap), and a 150 shot NOS system.

I will update the interior and motor pictures as soon as I can find the disc with all those photos on it.
Other custom work from Elite Auto & Collision
Gary's Suburbalade (1997 & 1999 Suburban parts, with a Escalade front end), 6" lift and lots of custom bumper and skid plate work.
