Well i hate to do it, But i need the money. I have to sell her. So if your interested read up on her and leave me a message. $10,000. obo. I bought this 1997 Pontiac Trans am in 2000 because my girlfriend (x now) didnt like getting into my lifted Bronco (see "soo tuff")It had 13,400 miles on it when i got it from a police auction i guess it was siezed for running drugs. i was doing pretty good on keeping the miles down on it until i met this cute little girl in Texas. needless to say i was driving back and forth to north Texas for six months 2 times a month (Ya it was good) and at 2400 miles a trip i started piling on the miles.I loved getting out on that open road between New Mexico and Texas where i could open her up. I would get it up to 145mph with plenty to go. At 130,000 miles on her and 1 week after i put my new LT4 Cam in it ($3000.) i was racing a mustang down the 51 when i noticed him pulling away, and at 145 mph i thought to myself, either he just hit the NOS or i broke. well when i looked down at my tach ,it was on 0. well, I spun a cam bearing and 2 rod bearings. And so heres my new motor: 5.7 LT1 350 bored 30 over,11:5:1 compression, LT4 Hot Cam, LT4 knock sensor, Roller rockers, milled & ported heads,Pacesetter headers with y pipe, Flowmaster exhaust,Hypertech Programmed computer,52mm BBK trottle body,BBK under pulley,K&N cold air intake system, MSD wires,MSD Opti spark, switched my drive shaft to a ls1 aluminum shaft.(it is about 20 lbs. lighter.)Dyno tuned by ADS in Chandler Az. 245/40 17 BF Goodrich tires on Eagle 5 spoke Polished wheels. And for the sound system, Orion HDDA mono 1200 watt amp for the 3-10" JL subs. Soundstream dvd/cd player with a 5.5" moniter. Orion 4 channel amp for the Orion 6"mid bass,Infinity mids&tweeters in the doors and Infinitys in the back hatch, w/sirius satelite system for the digital sound. Items to follow:Ram air hood, 150 shot NOS, Eibach lowering springs. Pictures to follow (Now wheres that Mustang)

Ahh dont sell your car!! haha you will regret it. as much of PITA LT1's are... they still can be built up to beat out the modern v8's I got my hood from roger at U.S. Exotics. since then he has moved on to viper car parts. and i haven't heard from him in a while.
