This is my 1976 Mustang II Mach I. I have owned this mustang since I was a sophmore. Me and my dad got a hold of the car and repainted it, redid the interior. The car has a stock 302 block with minor mods added, such as: headers, 4bbl carb, highrise stealth intake and exhaust(cherrybomb glasspacks). I raced it last summer, in the high school class, at Thunder Valley Dragways just outside of Marion, SD. The cars fastest run was 15.92 in the quarter.
I blew up the transmission about a month ago and am in the process of rebuilding it for racing this summer. I took the picture below the night the transmission went out.
