Here are some pics of my on board engine driven air compressor project. I'm using a Mini York compressor out of an older Volkswagon Rabbit.

I had to relocate the fuse block to make room for the compressor:

At first I decided to use some scrp diamond plate I had laying around for the compressor mount:

I didn't like how the diamond plate looked and fit so I drew up some brackets in AutoCAD and sent the file to Copperhead Fabrication. They hooked me up with some better looking adjustable plasma cut brackets:

Now it was time to make the bracket to mount the compressor to the motor.

First I cut and taped together some cardboard to make some patterns:

Then I cut the peices out of 3/16 flat plate. My torch cutting skills definately need some improvment:

I then welded the Copperhead Fabrication brackets together:
