Bed Bob
This pic is just before deciding to bob it:

Here I marked the lines on the bed sides with greese pencil and used some 5/50 cord and some spray paint to mark the bed:
Started Cutting after measuring around a hundred times:
I cut the end off first with the tailgate still attached to keep everything square and level:
Then came cutting out the 13" out. I decided on 13" because it makes my bed the same size as the double cab Tacoma:

Then I mocked up the back section with whats left of the bed. Notice the bottom doesnt really line up too well. You just have to start welding at the top and work your way to the bottom:

After welding then comes the Bondo:
And then paintor primer. I wasnt sure what I was going to do for paint at this point so I kept the racing stipr for a while:
Heres a pic of both of the trucks we did that day:

Spare Tire Mount:
I wanted to mount my tire in the bed but syill have some room to haul stuff. Kinda funny since I just cut off 13" of it huh!?
Here I mock up the tire where I want it:
Then I marked the hole I was to cut and then cut it:
Then I made the square box for the tire to drop down in. I'm still not sure what I was thinking when I decided square. Now its round to match the tire. Check out the redneck sheetmetal brake:

I'll try and snap some pics of how it is now. Much better than the original idea.
