"Hmmm... which car to buy?"
That's what I was thinking as we stood in the Nissan dealership. As much as I liked my Xterra, it was a 5-speed, and my wife couldn't (or, wouldn't) drive it.
"Maybe something sportier."
But, I got a lot of enjoyment out of picking up two or three friends and going out on the town.
Then, as I walked out onto the lot, there it was... the answer to my question. The Flagship of the Nissan line... the 2001 Maxima!
Sherwood Green... a cool, deep green color with a hint of blue when the sun hits it just right.
We drove it home that day having absolutely no idea what kind of following this car had.
A couple of months later, I was surfing the 'net, and I came across a place that has become an online home... maxima.org, The Home for Maxima Enthusiasts. The .org is THE place to find all of the information anyone would ever need about any generation of Maxima. Since becoming a donating member there, I have learned a lot about the Maxima community. That knowledge has led to the modifications that I have made to my car.
