1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 4-Door Sedan
Built as a street/strip car in the 1980's, the car was bought in Arizona equipped with a 327ci motor from a 1967 Camaro. The transmission has been changed over from the original automatic powerglide to a 4 on the floor, Hurst Racing Tranny. We custom fabricated crossmember to hold the tranny in place. An entirely new exhaust system was put in, complete with Hedman Headers running straight pipes to the two rear 40 Series Two-Chamber Flowmasters. The entire has also been modified from the Tuck N Roll styling into a more traditional Hot Rod look. Custom Door panel were created to achieve the traditional look. A new stereo system has been put in the car with three 4"s in the front and two 6"x9"s in the rear. The car is entirely made of steel and is nearly rust free.
Plans are in order to change the entire suspension and switch it to the new Air Ride Suspension. Also the car is going to be put onto 17" Lo-Profile wheels with Intro Vista Rims. A new sound system will also be installed complete with Infinity Speakers and well as two 12" subwoofers in a custom installed enclosure in the trunk. All this plus I'm only 17... sign the guestbook tell me what you think about the car..Later
